The Afrobeats stars watched as the Gunners dropped all three points at home, giving league leaders Liverpool a boost ahead of their clash with defending champions Manchester City on Sunday.

Arsenal failed to recover after conceding in the 44th minute, when Jarrod Bowen headed in a cross from Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The singers witnessed Arsenal’s struggles deepen in the second half. With 20 minutes left, youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly received a straight red card for pulling down West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, who was through on goal after capitalizing on his mistake.

The Gunners delivered a lackluster performance, managing only two shots on target throughout the game.

As a result, Mikel Arteta’s side remains second in the Premier League table with 53 points from 26 games, trailing Liverpool by eight.

Tems’ visit to the Emirates comes just a week after she became a co-owner of Major League Soccer (MLS) club San Diego FC.

The American club announced that Tems made the acquisition through her company, The Leading Vibe. The deal was facilitated in partnership with Pave Investments, an African private investment firm known for attracting investors to NBA Africa.

The football club confirmed that Tems had become a club partner and described her as someone who shares a “commitment to excellence and community engagement.”

Making the announcement herself, Tems described football as “a unique way of bringing people together,” adding that she looks forward “to help build something special in San Diego”.

“I am thrilled to join San Diego FC’s ownership group and to be part of a Club that celebrates creativity, culture, and the power of community,” the singer said.

“Football has a unique way of bringing people together, and I am excited to help build something special in San Diego, a city that thrives on diversity and innovation.”

It is unclear whether Tems’ visit to Emirates Stadium is linked to her recent co-ownership of the football club.
