Head Of Service Applauds NIPSS For Strategic Quality Education

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, has commended the National Institute for Strategic Studies (NIPSS) for its unwavering commitment and dedication to promoting intellectual discourse aimed at fostering national development.

According to Walson-Jack, the institute is not just an academic institution, but a place where character is refined and visionary leadership shaped to act as a vision board for the society. 

Walson-Jack stated this while addressing the Graduating Senior Executive Course 46/2024 of NIPSS at a presidential dinner.

The Head of Service while addressing the participants of the course said the knowledge they have gained and the experiences of the SEC 46 will act as key drivers to their success and would empower them to tackle the most pressing challenges facing the nation.

Walson-Jack said the tradition of nurturing thought leadership and strategic thinking through various initiatives was a testament to the value of leadership and wavering commitment to advancing the nation, of Nigeria.

The head of the service recalled that the rigour of passing through the institute was a challenging yet exhilarating journey that not only shaped her career but also refined her perspective on leadership.

The Chairman of the Occasion, Muhammed Umar, stated that being a members of NIPSS is a great privilege but with great privileges always come greater responsibilities.

The Director-General of NIPSS, Professor Ayo Omotayo, also urged the graduating participants to remain disciplined and dedicated to the task of national development, while also urging them not to forget the value of leadership that they were taught during their period of study at the institute.
