NOA establishes Zonal offices across Nigeria

The New Zonal Director , North Central , National Orientation Agency NOA, Priscilla GondoAlour has commended the Director General of the agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, for his visionary leadership in establishing  offices across the six geopolitical Zones in Nigeria

According to her, the action of the Director General would further bring the  operations of the agency closer to the people.

The Zonal Director made the commendation in Ilorin, Kwara State capital during her visit to the agency’s office where she was hosted by the staff.

Priscilla described Issa-Onilu as a hardworking, vibrant and focused leader who is determined to achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

She expressed her enthusiasm for leading the North Central Zone, which comprises Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau, Benue, Niger States, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Zonal Director urged NOA staff to embrace their roles with renewed vigor and dedication, emphasizing the importance of representing not only their communities but also the nation at large.

She stated that every task should be treated as theirs first, and excellence should be their standard, regardless of their position or level.

 The Zonal Director further described NOA staff as the “womb of the new rebirth of the National Orientation Agency,” and called for increased motivation and support to enable them to perform their duties effectively.

Priscilla also highlighted the critical role of the State Directorate media personnel, and other stakeholders in ensuring the successful dissemination of government policies and programs.

She stressed that without their efforts, communication at the grassroots level would not be as effective or efficient.

Speaking at the event, the state Director of NOA, Alhaji Dare Abdulganiyu, noted that the event marked a significant milestone in the agency’s commitment to fostering effective communication of government policies and programs at the grassroots level.

He emphasized that the creation of the zonal offices is in line with the ongoing restructuring of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), with new Zonal Directors appointed across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones and Kwara State, serving as the North Central Zonal Headquarters.

Abdulganiyu described Dr. Priscilla as a sophisticated leader with a remarkable personality.

The state NOA director pledged unwavering support and collaboration with the Zonal Office, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a strong working relationship to achieve the agency’s objectives.

During the event, staff members shared observations, recommendations, and remarks, reflecting their commitment to the agency’s mission.

She also inspected the State Headquarters offices, where she addressed newly recruited staff, encouraging them to approach each day with the same enthusiasm as their first, reminding them that hard work always yields positive results.

The inspection extended to NOA’s Local Government Area (LGA) offices in Ilorin East, Oke-Oyi and Ilorin West, Warra.

At each location, the Zonal Director was warmly received by Community Orientation Officers (COMOs), including Hajia Zainab Apaokagi and Hajia Saudah Orewole.

The COMOs expressed their needs and aspirations, and  hoped for positive changes under her leadership.

The flag-off ceremony and subsequent inspections underscored the NOA’s commitment to strengthening its presence and impact across the North Central Zone.

Members of  staff of the agency expressed the hope that with Priscilla Gondoalour at the helm, the agency is poised to achieve greater heights in its mission to promote national unity, civic responsibility, and effective communication of government initiatives.
