Deputy Senate Leader, National Assembly, Senator Lola Ashiru has called on Muslims particularly the clerics to pray fervently for the prosperity of the nation.
Senator Ashiru also called on all Muslim ummah to show love and understanding towards all religious adherents as they undertake this important aspect of Islamic faith.
Senator Ashiru expressed these views in his Ramadan message.
He urged Muslims to see the month of Ramadan as a period of piety, love, and oneness of the almighty Allah.
As we observe Ramadan, let us also remember to be our brothers keepers and give assistance in any positive form to the needy before, during and after the Ramadan season and as we move closer to our creator” he said.
