Ahead of Anambra 2025 elections, in a political rallying call, over 2,000 women from 179 communities across Anambra State have officially endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for re-election in the upcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election.

This endorsement was announced at the 2025 Anambra State Women Summit, convened by the state Women Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Esther Onyekesi, at the party’s South-East Regional Office in Awka.

During the summit, Onyekesi urged the diverse group of women representing various backgrounds and political affiliations to support Soludo, emphasizing the importance of continuity in the governor’s development initiatives.

We adopt Governor Chukwuma Soludo as our sole candidate due to his remarkable achievements in just under three years in office,” she said.

Onyekesi highlighted several key accomplishments of Soludo’s administration, including enhanced health services and security measures. She noted that every pregnant woman in the state has access to free antenatal care in government hospitals, while children benefit from free education.

Additionally, the One Youth, Two Skills program has been pivotal, offering free training and empowerment to the youth.

In a passionate appeal, Onyekesi called on other governorship aspirants to step aside and allow Soludo’s Vision 2070 to flourish. This vision seeks to transform Anambra into a thriving, eco-friendly, and peaceful state.
