
Nigeria, Italy Strengthen Cooperation in Science, Innovation, Technological Know-How
Nigeria and Italy have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration in science, innovation, and technology to drive economic growth and sustainability.
This follows a high-level meeting between Nigeria’s Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, and the Acting Ambassador of Italy to Nigeria, His Excellency Lacopo Foti, at the Italian Embassy in Abuja.
The discussions centred on advancing partnerships in renewable energy, research, and technology transfer, as well as exploring joint innovation projects. Both countries expressed their dedication to enhancing diplomatic and commercial ties in areas such as clean energy, industrial technology, and capacity building for research institutions.
