Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has praised the Dunamis International Gospel Centre for their “quintessential evangelism” during a recent crusade at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.

The event was notable for its orderliness, as it did not obstruct public movement or inconvenience road users.

Impressed by the positive impact of the event, Governor Soludo announced he would refund the fees paid by the church for the use of the venue and extended an invitation for future programs at the Square, which will undergo a major facelift, including enhanced lighting and beautification, in line with Anambra’s identity as “The Light of the Nation.”

In a statement by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the governor urged the church to intensify prayers for the spiritual renewal of the state and support the government’s efforts to rebuild moral values among the youth.

“Our people are known for hard work and innovation, not for kidnapping, internet fraud, drug trafficking, and other criminal activities. We must collectively redirect the minds of our youths toward productivity and positive impact,” he stated.

Governor Soludo commended Pastor Paul Enenche for delivering messages that promote righteousness and godly living, which he believes will help reshape the minds of young people and contribute to a safer, more prosperous Anambra State.

His gesture has received widespread support from religious leaders and the Christian community, seen as a vital step toward strengthening collaboration between the government and the church for societal transformation.

During the crusade, Pastor Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, delivered an impactful sermon titled “Serving the God of the Blessing,” which attracted thousands of worshippers seeking divine intervention. The event featured intense worship, personal testimonies of healing, and prophetic declarations.

In his message, Pastor Enenche highlighted the biblical principle of blessings, referencing God’s declarations over Adam and Noah. He urged the congregation to maintain steadfast faith and live lives of service and righteousness, assuring them that divine blessings are activated through obedience to God.
