The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and other top presidential aides have arrived at the Arewa House in Kaduna for a two-day interactive session on government-citizen engagement.

The forum, organised by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, is themed “Assessing Electoral Promises: Fostering Government–Citizen Engagement for National Unity.”

Other key figures at the event include the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Communications, Sunday Dare; Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Lanre Issa-Onilu; and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Tope Ajayi.

The session aims to evaluate the implementation of electoral promises and promote transparent communication between citizens and government institutions.

The event is expected to serve as a platform for feedback, dialogue, and policy recalibration in line with public expectations.

The forum continues on Tuesday with panel discussions, citizen feedback sessions, and presentations from civil society stakeholders.
