Wikki Tourists defeated champions Remo Stars 2-1 on Match Day 27 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), at the New Jos Stadium in Jos, Plateau State.
In the 10th minute, Jonathan Mairiga gave Wikki Tourists the lead after a brilliant piece of play. Then just before halftime, Wikki Toursits extended its lead courtesy of a strike by Hassan Musa.
In the second half, the champions pulled a goal back through Samson Olasupo in the 82nd minute to give Remo Stars a glimmer of hope.
However, the match finished 2-1 in favour of Wikki Tourist as NPFL champions Remo Stars faltered.
Wikki Tourists moved to 14th position on the table with 32 points, while Remo Stars are 18th on the table with 27 points.
