Eid Al-Adha: Nigerian Army calls for cordial relationship across military

The Nigerian Army has charged Officers and men of the Nigerian Force  to establish harmony and peaceful coexistence  with one another and with the civil community for the development and  unity of the country.
The Deputy Director Islamic Affairs, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and Chief Imam of Minna Army Cantonment, Lieutenant Colonel Buhari  Stated this during the Eid  Al-Adha message to Muslim community of the cantonment.
 The Imam further urged  them to express love in their day to day relationship with one another irrespective of tribe, race and language.
 Activities which herald the celebration witnessed personnel families, serving and retired , loved ones, friends, well wishers and other residents of Minna Army Cantonment, including the former commandant of the   Nigerian Army School of public relations NASPR, Colonel Mustapha Anka.
The early morning prayer recorded impressive turn out as faithfuls shun the harsh weather to beseiged 313 Parade ground venue of the prayers, where they offered prayers and thanked the Almighty God for making them to witness this year celebration.
 Lieutenant Colonel Buhari admonished faithfuls to emulate  prophet Ibrahim submissive attitude to Almighty Allah, pointing out that the Prophet’s sacrifice was a demonstration of his faith and obedience which endeared him to the Almighty Allah.
