Party Executives: Niger State Governor directs interested appointees to resign

The Governor of Niger State North-Central Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has directed all political appointees in the state interested in contesting as executives at all party levels to tender their resignation letters.
A statement made available to Voice of Nigeria by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, on Monday disclosed that the measure is in compliance with the constitution of the ruling party in the state, the All-Progressives Congress (APC).

The statement further requested that the resignation letters be submitted to the Office of Secretary to the State Government with immediate effect.
The Niger State SSG, Ibrahim Matane, enjoined those affected to comply with the directive.
