Nigeria has recorded 247 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 15 states of the federation.
Plateau is number one on the list with 49 cases, FCT-46, Kano-29, Lagos-27, Kaduna-26, Gombe-14, Bauchi-11, Cross River-11, Kwara-11, Rivers-9, Ondo-8, Niger-2, Oyo-2, Edo-1, Ekiti-1.
Today’s report includes 0 cases from Imo and Sokoto States.
With the latest report, 209,960 cases have been confirmed, 198,026 people discharged and 2,850 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
