Nigeria records 159 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria has recorded 159 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 13 states of the federation.

Kaduna state has the highest on the list with 47 cases, Enugu-44, Benue-36, Delta-10, Lagos-7, Plateau-5, Rivers-3, Nasarawa-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1, Edo-1, Jigawa-1, Kano-1.

Today’s report includes 0 cases from Jigawa state.

With the latest report, 210,295 cases have been confirmed, 198,191 people discharged and 2,856 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
