APC Congress Review: Appeal Committee arrives in Ogun State

Members of the All Progressive Congress, APC State Congress Appeal Committee have arrived in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, to review the October 16 State Congresses.

The 5 man-Committee headed by Patrick Obahiagbon said the panel was set up to review the congress , to ensure justice, equity, and  fair play to aggrieved members.

The Committee is sitting at the Quartz meeting room, Conference hotel, Abeokuta to receive petition arising and bordering on the recently held State Congress.

Obahiagbon explained that ”the Committee is in the state to receive, treat and review petitions if there is any, which might arise from the recently conducted state congress in the state.”

He called on members to file in their petitions, stressing that the committee would attend to them if submitted within 48hours.

The APC State Congress Appeal Committee was set-up by the National Caretaker Extra Ordinary and Convention Planning Committee in line with the party’s Constitution to review the preceding Congresses.

The All Progressive Congress, APC recently held its parallel Congresses for the ward, Local Government in Ogun State.

Factions loyal to the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun and the former Governor and Senator representing Ogun Central, Ibikunle Amosun held their Congresses at different venues in the state.
