The Nigerian Government has launched a portal for the sale of National Housing in thirty- four states across the country including the federal capital, Abuja.
The Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola made this known at the opening of the portal in Abuja, Nigeria.
He said the government at all levels, as well as Nigerians, should use the portal to apply for the houses.
Members of the public who are interested in the housing were directed to use this website; https:NHP.worksandhousing.gov.ng.
Fashola explained that the projects have five faces.
”We are done with phase 1, and phase 2. We will soon be done with phase 3.”
The Minister further stated that the houses will be available in different forms; to those who will want to pay through mortgage and some through loan and other forms of payments.
Fashola commended the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) for being at the forefront of the cooperative housing initiative at the federal level.
He also appreciated all the staff of the ministry for their contributions to the success of the project.
