Nigeria records 144 COVID-19 cases

Nigeria has recorded 144 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 13 states of the federation.

 

Imo state records the highest with 38 cases, Plateau-20, Lagos-17, FCT-16, Kwara-15, Zamfara-15, Ondo-7, Rivers-5, Taraba-4, Oyo-3, Bauchi-2, Edo-1, Ekiti-1.

According to NCDC, it says,

“Today’s report includes 4 states with zero cases reported: Katsina, Ogun, Osun, and Sokoto.

269 recoveries reported for FCT for 15th (36) and 16th (233) November 2021 including community discharges

20 cases reported for Plateau state for 15th (15) and 16th (5) November 2021

17 cases reported for Lagos state for 15th (11) and 16th (6) November 2021

16 cases reported for FCT for 15th (3) and 16th (13) November 2021.”

With the latest report, 213,321 cases have been confirmed, 206,206 people discharged and 2,973 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
