The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has approved Governor Abdullahi Sule’s request for five additional special Advisers in the state.
Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Balarebe Abdullahi announced it during an emergency seating at the Hall of the State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lafia, the state capital.
The speaker said that the request of the governor was given accelerated approval due to the governor’s efforts to add more competent hands to bring more policies that would move the state forwards.
He further appreciated his colleagues for their contributions during the deliberation on the subject matter.
Speaking while presenting the governor’s request to the Members, the majority leader of the House, Tanko Tunga said that, if given the proposed approval, it would ease the work load of the governor in so many ways.
The majority leader, Tanko Tunga moved for the acceptance of the request and was seconded by Danladi Jatau.
It would be recalled that the governor recently appointed 15 special Advisers into his administration making the total Special Advisers to the total of 20, following the approval by the Lawmakers.
