Para-Powerlifting Federation Of Nigeria Mourns Paul Kehinde

The Para-Powerlifting Federation of Nigeria has expressed sadness over the death of four-time world para-lifting champion Paul Kehinde, who died in Lagos on the 18th of November, 2021.

The President of the Nigeria Para-Powerlifting Federation, Ruel Ishaku, told journalists that the late Kehinde was a great ambassador of the country, and the entire paralympic family would miss him.

According to Ruel, the late world champion died on November 18 and was buried the following day, November 19, stating that the sports ministry sent a delegation led by Secretary-General of the Federation, Peter Njoku, and other board members to the burial.

Meanwhile, the President of the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria (PCN), Brig. Gen Emico Eruwa, has equally expressed shock on the death of the Nigerian lifter, stating that the PCN family will continue to miss him.
