The Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mr Olusade Adesola has congratulated Mr Emmanuel Ogbeche on his landslide re-election victory for the second tenure of office as the Chairman of the FCT Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, (NUJ).
The Permanent Secretary in a statement signed by his Chief of Secretary, Mr Tony Odey, explained that the sterling leadership qualities demonstrated by Comrade Emmanuel Ogbeche during his first tenure undoubtedly endeared him to the heart of the entire membership of the Council, resulting in his re-election.
The Permanent Secretary who also congratulated the new Executive Members, praised the entire membership of the Council for their peaceful and well-behaved manner displayed during the election.
Mr Adesola also remarked that the FCT Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists has over the years been a reliable and strategic partner with the FCT Administration, in information gathering, management and dissemination within the Territory and the nation at large.
He encouraged the new leadership to continue to make decisions that will impact positively on the Council and Media Practice, as well as enhance a more harmonious working relationship between the FCT Administration and the NUJ, Abuja Council.
