Nigeria has confirmed 599 new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
Nigeria’s Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed the cases on Tuesday night via its official website.
NCDC noted that one COVID-19 related death was recorded in the country.
“The 599 new cases are reported from 15 States -Delta (194), Edo (94), FCT (80), Kaduna (48), Lagos (35), Ondo (23), Kano (21), Rivers (20), Kwara (20), Ogun (18), Plateau (12), Abia (8), Cross River (8), Ekiti (6), and Bauchi (3),” NCDC explained.
These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 239,019 with 213,180 discharged and 3,027 deaths.
