The Nigerian Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has received his Ghanaian counterpart, John Mahama on a courtesy visit, in the State House, Abuja, the nation’s capital.
President Mahama arrived at the president’s residence at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. He is visiting his Nigerian counterpart for the first time since his inauguration as the President of Ghana on January 7th, 2025.
The Ghanaian Leader, President Mahama had paid a courtesy visit to President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Dec.17th, 2024, shortly after the Nigerian Leader congratulated Mahama on his victory after winning Ghana’s December 7th, general election.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu had expressed optimism that Mahama’s return to leadership would bolster stability within the Economic Community of West African States.
