Comedian Buchi thrills Abuja residents with Easter Comedy show

Abuja residents had a full-dose of classic entertainment as popular Nigerian comedian Onyebuchi Ojieh – a.k.a. Buchi hosted his annual live easter show in Transcorp Hilton Abuja.

The show boasted of other top comedians such as I Go Save, KennyBlaq, Koboko Master and the cast of My Flatmates, the popular comedy series shown on M-net Africa Magic.

The Opening act was done by famous Comedian Basket mouth.

While speaking with Voice of Nigeria correspondent Maryam Bakari before the show, Buchi said this year’s Easter outing was targeted at bringing a full-package of comedy laced with good music and some drama.

To eliminate fillers that are not comedy oriented and promote stand up comedy on his platform was part of his objectives fir this year’s Easter Live Comedy Show.

“My show has always been to push comedy even though it gets tougher,” he said.

“I strongly believe that comedy shows should be comedy shows, apart from the fact that i wanted to push just comedy, it was a lot cheaper for me to achieve.”

His tickets were Sold Out online and offline before the show and the town out was absolutely impressive.
