ACCI Adopts Best Centre To Enhance Entrepreneur Skills

The First Deputy President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (ACCI), Prof. Adesoji Adesugba says the Business Entrepreneurship, Skills, and Technology, BEST, Centre of the Chamber aims to bridge the skills gap in Nigeria’s business ecosystem.

The Chairman, Governing Council, ACCI BEST Centre, Prof. Adesugba disclosed this during the 1st Governing Council Meeting of the Centre for year 2025.

He noted that the main objective of the BEST Centre is the operation of a world class Learning Centre for the development and improvement of entrepreneurship, technology and other vocational skills.

According to him, “Specifically, the centre aims at improving the use of technology in the enhancement of chamber.”

“The ACCI BEST Centre was established in 2017 as the capacity-building and knowledge hub of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry”

“It was founded with a clear mission—to bridge the skills gap in Nigeria’s business ecosystem by providing high-quality training, fostering entrepreneurship, and supporting businesses with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in an ever-changing economic landscape.” Prof. Adesugba explained.

He stated that over the past seven years, the Centre made remarkable strides in the areas of enterprise Development, capacity Building, policy advocacy & public-private dialogue, industry-academia collaborations and digital and technical skills training.

“These accomplishments have positioned the BEST Centre as a leading force in workforce development, innovation, and entrepreneurship support.” Prof. Adesugba added.
