The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri is set to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Governance for the third consecutive time.
The honour will be conferred by President Bola Tinubu, during the 2025 Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS), scheduled for December 7th at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to the Award Committee, “Governor Fintiri will be recognised as the Best Performing Governor in Infrastructure and Urban Development, in acknowledgment of his administration’s notable strides in transforming Adamawa State.”
In a message of appreciation, the Governor expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the NEAPS committee for the recognition.
He described the award as “a testament to his administration’s dedication to improving the state’s infrastructure and overall governance.”
“This award serves as a motivation to continue driving progress and prosperity in our state. We will continue to prioritise infrastructure development, improve governance, and enhance the quality of life for ourcitizens,” he said.
He reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the developmental momentum across Adamawa State, noting that “the honour underscores the impact of the government’s policies and reforms.”
