The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has signed five bills into law, marking significant progress in the state’s development.

New Laws Enacted; Adamawa State Water Supply and Sanitation Hygiene Services Law 2024.

This law applies to various state agencies, including the Adamawa State Water Services Regulatory Commission, Private Sector Participation and Service Providers, Adamawa State Water Corporation, and more

Another on is the ⁠Adamawa State Health Supplies Management Agency Law 2024 which Repeals The State Essential Drugs Programme Edict of 1996.

⁠Teachers Service Commission Law 2024: Establishes the Adamawa State Teachers’ Service Commission.

Also the Adamawa State College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Ganye Law 2024. It Repeals Adamawa State College Of Agriculture Ganye Law 15 of 2016.

Finally is the Adamawa State College Of Nursing Sciences Law 2024: Repeals Adamawa State College Of Nursing and Midwifery Law 2 of 2017.

Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of collaboration in implementing these laws, ensuring their provisions are understood and adopted by all segments of society.
