The Independent National Electoral Commission in Adamawa State has started the distribution of sensitive materials to all 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
The commission commences the distribution as early as 8: am on Thursday at the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN), Yola, the state capital.
Items distributed include the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), the result sheets as well as the ballot papers.
During the distribution which was carried out by the INEC officials, security agents, journalists and representatives of political parties participating in the polls were on the ground to witness the process of the distribution.
The materials were first given to some of the Local Government Areas which are far from the capital city, Yola, to enable them to arrive on time before the closer ones.
