Adanian Labs picks five winners of inaugural hackathon event
Five Nigerian startups with exceptional innovations have been selected by Africa’s leading venture builder, Adanian Labs to join 12 months venture building programme and receive up to $120,000 pre seed funding.
It announced the five after its first-ever Hackathon event held in Lagos on Saturday, to empower innovators to develop technologies and solutions that would impact Africa and the Future.
Over 50 people had applied but best 20 were selected to compete for the big prize and five tech experts were present as judges to select the best solution.
The participants were given an opportunity to defend and explain the rationale and processes behind their solution.
Adanian Lab’s CEO, John Kamara said;“We are all working towards the Pan African dream of building relevant capacity to extract value from the fourth industrial revolution. We invite our partners and especially our learners from across Africa, to join us on this journey of transformation.”
