Ademola Lookman Wins Atalanta Player Of The Season
Super Eagles of Nigeria winger, Ademola Lookman has won the player of the season at the Italian Serie A club, Atalanta.
This past season, he scored a history-making hat-trick for Atalanta to win a first-ever European honour, the UEFA Europa League, at the expense of undefeated Bayer Leverkusen.
He was Man of the Final and netted five goals and made an assist in 11 appearances in the Europa League.
In the Serie A, the 26 year old netted 11 goals and provided eight assists in 31 appearances last season.
Atalanta will play in the UEFA Champions League in the coming season.
He was also joint leading scorer for the Super Eagles at the delayed 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire in February.
