The Action Democratic Party (ADP) says it will participate in the Anambra State Governorship election as many aspirants under the party have shown interest to contest under the party.
The National Chairman of the party, Mr Yabagi Sani said in a statement that the party is prepared and confident of victory in the November 6 governorship election.
Mr Sani said with the massive support of the youth, women and other stakeholders in the State, the party is entering the race with a mission and a vision to implement programmes of action aimed at taking Anambra to its rightful position in the country.
The National Chairman of the ADP further said the people of the State have identified with the ADP as the credible alternative for good governance in the State.
“Anambra State is one of the foremost states in the country in terms of industry, commerce, entrepreneurship, and education,” he said.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the Anambra Governorship poll for November 6, 2021.
