AFCON U-17: Morocco beats South Africa to top in Group B

The Young Atlas Lions of Morocco on Sunday night beat the Amajimbos of South Africa 2-0 in the second match of the Group B first round matches to top Nigeria in the group table.

Despite a scoreless first half, Moroccan Captain, Abdelhamid Boudlal and Adam Hanin scored in the second half to give Morocco the win.

The 2-0 win puts Morocco top of the table in Group B, recall, the Golden Eaglets are currently second after securing a 1-0 win against Zambia in the earlier fixtures.

Nigeria will face Morocco on Wednesday, while South Africa and Zambia will play each other. The match between Nigeria and Morocco will take place on May 3rd, Wednesday, at 7 pm Nigerian time.
