As Nigeria marks its Armed Forces and Remembrance Day, Defence Headquarters has paid tribute to fallen heroes who paid the supreme price to secure the peace of the country.
“Today we remember our fallen heroes, men and women of the Armed Forces who have paid the supreme price to safeguard our nation’s peace, security and stability,” the Defence HQ said.

The Armed Forces and Remembrance Day is celebrated and observed on 15 January to commemorate the servicemen of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It also honors veterans of World War I and II as well as the Nigerian Civil War.
