Kaduna State Governor, Nasiru El-Rufai has assured family members of fallen heroes of his administration’s continuous support in their various life endeavours.
He encouraged the children of the fallen heroes to access and benefit from the various youth programmes organised by Kaduna State government.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Kaduna, the Governor said government will continue to remember those that have gone before us.
Represented by his Deputy, Hadiza Balarabe, he extended gratitude to God Almighty for witnessing yet another ceremony marking the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Country.
“We pray that Almighty grants them eternal rest and their children find solace in the fact that they are not alone in the struggles of life. We pray that God will continue to grant them peace within their hearts”.
The Governor also prayed to God in his mercies to grant Kaduna and the entire Country peace, saying, Nigerians need to realise that they are one and resolve to live peacefully with one another.
