Agency hands over relief materials to Adamawa State Government.

National Emergency Management Agency,NEMA in Nigeria, has officially handed over relief materials to the Adamawa State Government for onward distribution to victims of flooding in the Sixteen Local Government Areas affected by flood.
The Director General who was represented by the Deputy Director Human Resource Management Mohammed Kanar during the visit, sympathised with the victims of the recent flood, the people and Government of Adamawa State in Northeast Nigeria.
He pledged the Agency’s continued support in bringing succour to the affected persons while strengthening the already good working relation with the State Government and other stakeholders in disaster management in order to come up with a lasting solution to all forms of disaster.
Also represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Bashir Ahmed, the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri commended the Federal Government for its effort through the Minister of Humanitarian affairs, Disaster Management and social development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Faruk and the Dg Nema Mustapha Habib Ahmed for the Humanitarian gesture.
The Governor emphasised that the items will reach all the intended beneficiaries across the State.
