The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at has called for the promotion of peace and justice in Nigeria by ensuring that actions are guided by the dictates of Allah as stated in the Qur’an.

This was part of the action points agreed upon as the communique of the Islamic organisation during its 69th Annual Conference where Nigerians were advised to also ensure that all their actions were guided by Allah’s injuctions as contained in the Holy Qur’an and the hadiths, sayings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“The society will be a better place to live in when every individual carries out Allah’s commandments, values peace, works for it and allow justice to be entrenched,” the communique explained.
Citizens, especially, Muslims were enjoined to support governments and pray for their success, rather than harbouring and making negative comments against the country and the governments.
The community also agreed that citizens should continue to obey the governments unless their directives conflict with obedience to Allah.

Ahmadiyyah also advised all individuals, corporate bodies, manufacturing companies and the government to take concrete measures to revert the trend of climate change to avoid its consequences.

The organisation also noted that disobedience to Allah’s commandments, over-exploitation of the climate has resulted in disruption of natural order, leading humanity to experience disasters of various types.
