Dr. Udo made the call while speaking at a yuletide get-together and empowerment programme organised for constituents of his political ward at Oku 11, ward 13, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
He affirmed that the leadership of the trio at different levels of governance remains critical to continuous development at the grassroots.

The ALGON Chairman expressed appreciation to the people for their consistent support, noting that in line with the charge of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno has continued to encourage public office holders to regularly return home to celebrate and engage with their people.
“To complement the Governor’s gesture… I hereby donate over 200 additional bags of rice and ₦ 1million to each of the four villages, with another ₦1million to non-indigenes, and ₦1 million to women to enable them celebrate the festive season with their families,” he said.
Speaking on behalf of the ward, the Ward Political Leader, Obong Essien James, the Ward Councillor, Hon. Ekerete Okon, Mrs. Comfort Joshua who represented the women, and other speakers expressed gratitude to Dr. Uwemedimo Udo and his wife, Akaninyene Udo, for what they described as consistent love and support for the people of the ward.
They commended his “inclusive leadership style, massive empowerment initiatives, and infrastructural interventions”, which they said have “positively impacted lives at the grassroots”.
The speakers also appreciated the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, for what they described as sterling leadership and exemplary support, which they noted has enabled Dr. Udo to deliver people-focused and development-driven services.
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders of the ward unanimously pledged their unflinching support for the second-term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
