AltSchool Africa has partnered with Bybit to launch a “$100,000 scholarship fund” aimed at providing scholarships for 1,000 young Africans.

The program focuses on equipping African youths with skills in areas like “software engineering, data analytics, and product management,” alongside mentorship and career guidance.

Adewale Yusuf, AltSchool Africa’s CEO, described the initiative as a step toward creating accessible pathways to education and opportunities.

“This sponsorship goes beyond a traditional scholarship program. It represents a shared vision for a future where young Africans are not only tech-savvy but also empowered to lead their communities into a prosperous digital age.”

Meanwhile, Bybit’s COO, Helen Liu, highlighted the partnership’s potential to “foster growth, innovation, and resilience” among Africa’s youth.

The initiative aims to bridge the digital skills gap, addressing the anticipated demand for skilled professionals in Sub-Saharan Africa’s future workforce.
