A fifty-five-man campaign organisation for Pete Ibida has been inaugurated with a charge to make the federal House of Representatives ambition of the lawmaker a reality.
The inauguration which took place at the country home of the Lawmaker in Nimo, Njikoka Local government area of Anambra State, has Mr Patrick Onyedum as the Director General of the campaign organisation.
Hon. Ibida, a two-time member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, recounted the numerous projects he has done in each ward in his constituency and promised to double his performance as a federal lawmaker during the 2023 general election.
Describing himself as an experienced facilitator and advocate of good governance, Honourable Ibida said he is not going to the National Assembly as a novice but as a lawmaker who knows how to explore opportunities to attract democracy dividends due to his constituency.
Inaugurating the members of the campaign organization, the lawmaker described them as high performers and winning teams who will do all that is necessary to achieve their goals.
In his acceptance remarks, the Director General of the campaign organization, Mr Patrick Onyedum, said any candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has over ninety per cent chances of coasting to victory adding that Honorable Ibida is a popular politician in Anambra polity and called for collaboration to achieve their mandate.
The Director General of the Women Wing of the organization, Mrs Margaret Mmaduaburochukwu, called on APGA faithful in Njikoka, Dunukofia and Anaocha constituency to pull resources together to ensure that Honourable Ibida emerges victoriously in the 2023 general election.
In his remarks,a member of the organization, Honourable Slyvanus Igbokwe, appreciated the lawmaker for the confidence reposed in them and affirmed that they are going to work hard to ensure victory
