The Gubernatorial Çandidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for Anambra State Poll, Nicholas Ukachukwu, says he is committed to boosting economic activities and creating enabling environment to drive improved industrial development in the state.
He made the promise while addressing party faithful and supporters in Onitsha North and South in continuation of his Thank You tour of the 21 Local Government Areas of the state
Ukachukwu assured the gathering of their shared commitment to empower local businesses, stimulate economic activities and uplift the residents standard of living.
He assured them of turning the Onitsha into a mega commercial hub, which industries will thrive with mass production of goods for both local consumption and export.
The APC Gubernatorial Candidate emphasized the need to connect Anambra State to the Centre to attract federal presence and resources into the State.
Commenting on security, Ukachukwu promised to eradicate the incessant kidnapping, killings and pronounced insecurities, which had been on a rampage.
He consoled with the people of Onitsha on the kidnapped and murder of former House of Assembly member, Hon. Justice Azuka, who was representing Onitsha Constituency until his death.
While assuring of a top-notch security if elected into office come Nov. 8th 2025, he launched what he termed “Operation Deliver Your Ward And Polling Units” and inaugurated Committees to facilitate the exercise
On her part, the Deputy Gubernatorial Çandidate, Senator Uche Ekwunife thanked the Onitsha people for their faith in them and urged them to throw weight behind their candidature.
She added that they were on a rescue mission to fix the state and extend dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
The State Chairman of APC, Chief Basil Ejidike, underscored the need for voter education and urged them to vote for APC during the poll.
While urging them to rally behind Ukachukwu/Ekwunife ticket, he said this had become imperative to ensure a resounding victory for the party.
Some of party stakeholders who spoke during the political rally including, Bright Osemeka, Hon Chigbo Enwezor, Bishop Emeka Nwankpa felicitated with them for securing the APC Governorship Candidacy.
They expressed confidence that the state will experience growth and prosperity under Ukachukwu/Ekwunife leadership
