The Labour Party (LP), through the Chief George Moghalu, Ify Okaro Campaign Organization, has officially secured the Out-of-Home Visual Campaign Political Permit from the Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA), marking a major step forward in the build-up to the November 8, 2025, Anambra Governorship Election.

The campaign permit, which costs ₦50m, is a statutory requirement for all political parties intending to conduct outdoor advertising in the state during the election season.

The payment was made earlier today at ANSAA’s headquarters in Awka by Sir Okey Chukwuogo, Director General of the Moghalu Okaro Campaign Organisation. He was received by ANSAA Managing Director, Mr. Tony Odili Ujubuoñu.

With this payment, the Labour Party now has the legal clearance to begin full-scale outdoor campaign activities across Anambra’s 21 local government areas.

These include the deployment of posters, billboards, branded campaign vehicles, banners, public address systems, and other approved promotional materials.

Mr. Ujubuoñu reiterated that the permit fee is a regulatory obligation designed to ensure orderly and standardised political advertising.

He noted that the process is expected to generate over ₦800 million in revenue for the state from the 16 political parties cleared by INEC to participate in the upcoming election.

Speaking after the payment, Labour Party governorship candidate Mr. George Moghalu described the move as “a public declaration of discipline, order, and responsible leadership.”

“This payment is more than a formality. It signals our readiness—not just to campaign, but to govern,” Moghalu said.

“We are starting this journey by respecting institutions and adhering to due process. That’s the kind of leadership Anambra deserves.”

He assured Ndi Anambra that his campaign would remain focused on core issues such as security, infrastructure, job creation, education, and transparent governance.

“We are not in this to make noise,” Moghalu added. “We are here to deliver results, restore dignity to governance, and bring prosperity to our people.”

Also present at the permit presentation were key members of the campaign team, including Comrade Emmandy Ezenagu, Personal Assistant to the Director General.

The Labour Party’s early compliance with ANSAA’s guidelines highlights its commitment to a structured, lawful, and issue-driven campaign.

The party is now set to begin statewide mobilization efforts through visual and public engagement channels permitted under the new license.
