Anambra APC Governorship Aspirant Confident in Party’s Victory in 2025 Poll

The governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma has affirmed that his party will emerge victorious in the upcoming 2025 poll.

 

Speaking at a breakfast meeting with journalists in Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area, Chukwuma highlighted the APC’s grassroots campaigns to mobilise members and secure the people’s mandates.

 

Chukwuma expressed concerns on the current state of affairs in Anambra, citing a loss of interest and confidence in Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s APGA-led administration.

 

He stressed the need for a system overhaul to address economic, governance, and security challenges facing the state.

“Governor Soludo plays APGA in Anambra and plays APC in Abuja. Such a game of deceit cannot work because, in an election, it is a different ball game,” he said.

 

The governorship aspirant outlined the APC’s mandate to engage with the people, address key issues, and find lasting solutions to their needs. He emphasised the party’s commitment to liberate Anambra State and restore it to its former glory.

 

Chukwuma called for stakeholder intervention to address insecurity in the state, noting that improved security would attract investors and boost the economy.

 

He also dismissed rumors of an alliance between APC and APGA, praising President Tinubu for appointing competent Anambra citizens to key positions in his administration.

 

“There was a time people were alleging that the President and APC hates the Southeast. But today, reverse is the case as president is appointing credible persons from Anambra State and other parts of Southeast to head ministries, agencies and parastatals.

 

“So, the President should be commended for appointing our credible people in his cabinet. He is not only appointing APGA members as some persons alleged. He has appointed other qualified APC members and none politicians into key positions in his cabinet,” he said.

 

Chukwuma commended him and expressed interest to support him in all he is doing for peace and development of Anambra and Nigeria.

 

The governorship aspirant commended the APC’s grassroots efforts and expressed confidence in the party’s prospects for victory in the upcoming election.

 

He reiterated the APC’s commitment to winning the governorship position through the will of the people and not through coercion.

 

Chukwuma affirmed the importance of unity, inclusivity, and good governance in driving Anambra State towards progress and development.
