As delegates from the All Progressives Congress (APC) prepare to cast their votes on April 5, 2025, Sir Paul Chukwuma has penned an impassioned open letter urging them to select a candidate capable of leading the party to victory in the upcoming governorship election in Anambra State.

In his letter, Chukwuma highlighted the critical role delegates play in shaping Anambra’s future, emphasizing that their decision have far-reaching implications not only for the APC but also for the state’s overall prosperity.

He framed the election as more than a candidate selection. According to him, it represents a crucial juncture that will impact the direction of Anambra in the years to come.

While positioning himself as the ideal candidate to guide the APC to success, Chukwuma called on the delegates to see beyond fleeting promises and distractions.

He reiterated that his commitment to the party is underscored by his history as a former Zonal Youth Leader and National Auditor – roles that have allowed him to significantly contribute to the APC’s development in Anambra.

I have stood by this party from its inception, not for personal gain, but for the potential it holds for the people of Anambra,” Chukwuma said.

Chukwuma also contrasts his loyalty with that of politicians who frequently switch allegiances for self-serving reasons, thereby positioning himself as a dependable and trustworthy choice for the APC.

The letter further underscores Chukwuma’s extensive efforts over the past three years to amplify the APC’s presence in Anambra, where he has built relationships with party members, executives, and stakeholders across all 21 local government areas.

I have earned the trust and respect of our grassroots. With this broad support, I am confident our party will approach the November elections united, energized, and poised for victory,” Chukwuma said.

A key aspect of his message is his emphasis on his legal, intellectual and emotional qualifications, which he believes differentiates him from other candidates facing eligibility concerns.

With me, there is no uncertainty,” he said, suggesting that his candidacy is legally sound and focused.

Chukwuma also highlighted the need for strategy in challenging an incumbent governor like Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

He argued that to successfully contest against Soludo, the APC requires a candidate who not only matches his intellect but also exceeds him in vision and strategic thinking. “I am that candidate,” he insisted, vowing to engage Soludo with a compelling message of change and development.

Acknowledging the demanding nature of a political campaign, Chukwuma reassured delegates of his readiness.

He described himself as youthful, dynamic, and physically prepared to endure the rigors of campaigning, expressing confidence in his ability to fund a robust and sustainable campaign.

In conclusion, Chukwuma called on delegates to prioritise loyalty, vision, and qualifications over distractions or transient promises.

He urged them to cast their votes for him, arguing that he embodies the strength and commitment needed to lead the APC to victory and secure a prosperous future for Anambra.

“On April 5, 2025, vote for a candidate who embodies the strength, vision, and commitment essential for a resounding APC victory,” Chukwuma said while rallying delegates to choose him for the benefit of both Anambra and the APC.

The outcome of the delegates’ decision on April 5 is anticipated to be crucial in determining not only the APC’s candidate but also the broader political scenery in Anambra ahead of the 2025 governorship election.
