Anambra State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) says it will set up a Committee to resolve contentious issues among feuding leaders and critical stakeholders in the state.
Rising from a Stakeholders Meeting in Awka,the party noted that the Committee to be known as Eminent Persons Committee would immediately try to bridge the gaps among the leaders in the state.
According to the Communique issued at the end the meeting by Barrister C J Chinwuba, the party stated its resolve to build a united house,but quickly implored leaders and stakeholders to donate their resources, time and talent in the interest of the party.
The Nine Points Communique, also indicated that two other Committees of Standing Displinary and Finance Committees were set up to try all known anti party activities during the general elections as well as work out avenues of funding in line with its constitution.
“We frown at the attitude of so many party executives at the various levels along our party trusted agents who abdicated their responsibilities during the elections”
“We use this opportunity to appeal to the incoming President,Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as a true party man to consult the party in the state in all appointments for Anambra State to make them committed to the affairs of the party”
