Anambra First Lady Preaches Love, Hosts Orphans To Pre-Christmas Party

Anambra Governor’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo has called for unconditional spread of love, especially towards those that are dealing with life’s challenges.

She stated that children in various orphanage homes worldwide, need and expect such love this yuletide season.

The governor’s wife stated this while hosting children from an orphanage home to a pre-Christmas party at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, Awka, Anambra state.

According to Mrs Soludo, Christmas underlines love, as the basic significance of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, explaining that the season is incomplete if people do not spread love, unconditionally.

She emphasized that giving with love, no matter how little, is the hallmark of charity, and asked everyone to reach out to those around them, especially the less privileged, and show them some love, in and out of season.

In her chat with the kids, Mrs Soludo assured them that she will always be there to give them closure and sense of home, stressing that despite any immediate circumstance, there is always a second happy home for such children in Anambra State.

She said that the event was meant to give the children a complete sense of Christmas, as well as share another face-to-face moment with them.

The Governor’s wife also presented gifts to the kids and had one-on-one sessions with most of them to hear their stories, dreams and how they are faring.
The governor’s children also participated in the celebration.
