The wife of Anambra State governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has urged youths to take advantage of growing investments in the technology sector by the current administration.
Mrs Soludo, who stated this during the Solution Innovation District (SID) tech hangout in Awka, the state capital, narrated that the government is currently revolutionizing the state’s tech sector to become a development hub of tomorrow’s Anambra State.
The governor’s wife noted that the target is youth, stressing that each opportunity that has been provided by the state government is systemically designed to equip young people with the required skillset to compete with their counterparts elsewhere.
She stated that strengthening the tech future of Anambra State is one of the primary pursuits of her husband’s administration, adding that the ultimate goal is to domesticate digital skills and unveil technologies in every home and use them to build the economic future and development of the state.
Mrs Soludo, who disclosed her satisfaction with the growing community of techies in the state, described the Solution Innovation District as Anambra’s technology incubation pride.

The governor’s wife, while stating that the Level Up Anambra tech programme which graduated over twenty thousand youths last year, and the ongoing Code Anambra digital training, which is hosting over two thousand young people, combined with the “1Youth, 2Skills” programme, are intentional government moves to give youths a lead role in the technological revolution of Anambra State.
She noted that technology remains the driving force of the modern-day economy and pointed out that the “Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere” mantra of the present administration is a recognition of the power of digital technology and policies that must be activated to achieve a technology-driven Anambra economy.
