A Gubernatorial Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Smart Okafor, says the cardinal motive for vying for the office is to sustain continuity of already established development agenda by the incumbent administration.
After being honoured by APGA Students Forum in Awka, the State capital, Okafor said he was interested in sustaining the tempo of development strides in state for the people.
“I believe that if we have continuity, we will be able to sustain what Governor Obiano has done and take it further,” he said.
On security, the lawmaker who representing Nnewi North State Constituency in the House of Assembly, said;
” If we have a strong security network that is very much advanced, we will effectively secure the state and protectour people will be protected.”
Okafor, stressed that he has a track record of leadership and possessed the needed qualifications to deliver good governance in Anambra State.
He said; “I always deliver in any leadership position. I have a very clear cut manifesto, but we should go beyond manifesto and focus on track record. Because anybody can hire experts to design a good manifesto that will remain unimplementable at the end of the day.”
The Gubernatorial election in Anambra State is billed for 6th November, 2021.
