Anambra LG Election: Commission Begins Distributing Non-Sensitive Materials

The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission, ANSIEC has commenced the distribution of non-sensitive materials to all 21 Local Government Areas.
This is in preparation for the local government election scheduled for September 28, 2024 in the State.
A briefing at the commission’s headquarters in Awka, the Chairman of ANSIEC, Genevieve Osakwe announced that non-sensitive materials are being transported to the respective local government areas under the supervision of Electoral Officers.
Osakwe reassured the public that the election would take place in all polling units across the state in a peaceful environment.
The distribution of non-sensitive materials is a crucial step in the preparation for the upcoming local government election in Anambra State.
This process ensures that all necessary materials, such as ballot boxes, voting booths, and other essential items, are available at the polling units on election day.
With the efficient distribution of these materials, ANSIEC is demonstrating its commitment to conducting a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
