Anambra: Philanthropist Grants Scholarships to Needy Students

A total of 25 underprivileged students from Ifitedunu in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State have been awarded scholarships through Sir Chudie Obinabo’s Ozo Onyeaghalanwanneya Scholarship Award Programme.

The beneficiaries, who come from various educational institutions, including universities, polytechnics, and primary schools, were selected to receive financial assistance to further their education.

Additionally, five graduates from the programme were acknowledged and rewarded with cash prizes for successfully completing their undergraduate studies.

During the 8th edition of the scholarship awards, Prince Obinabo emphasized the importance of supporting future generations and leaders to become self-reliant individuals. He announced plans to extend the scholarship programme to all towns in Dunukofia in 2025, with a focus on assisting even more students in need.

The initiative, which has been ongoing for eight years, aims to provide opportunities for indigent undergraduates to pursue their education without financial barriers.
