The Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated a Contact and Mobilization Committee in Anambra state, South-east Nigeria. The committee members were drawn from the twenty-one local government areas of the state.

Other sub-committees were also inaugurated to serve under the main committee.

Performing the inauguration at the meeting held at the Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Awka, the state capital, the Anambra State’s Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the South-East, Senator Mrs Margery Chuba-Okadigbo, said their core mandate was to embark on grassroot mobilization to ensure victory for Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Mrs Okadigbo, who is the serving Chairman of the Board and Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, urged them to live up to expectation by reaching out to people in various localities to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and all candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.
“The appointed co-ordinators and Heads of the sub-committees are grassroot politicians and people of impeccable character who can achieve the objectives of the campaign’s organization in the state.
“This is a call to be a part of history, a call to be a part of creating the new nation we all desire and the future we seek for our children and our children’s children.
“I thank you all for your unrelenting passion, unbridled commitment, unparalleled dedication and uncommon sacrifice for the message of Renewed Hope that you believe in.

“I want to urge you to go back to your grassroots with this gospel.

“What is happening to us in this country can only be tackled by Ahmed Bola Tinubu because of his political and social-economic capacity,” Ejidike added.

Some APC leaders who spoke at the meeting, including Hon. Timothy Ifediorama (APC Anambra State House of Assembly), enjoined the appointed local government co-ordinators and sub-committees to always welcome ideas and suggestions from other members.
