Anambra State Executive Council Approves Construction of Feeder Roads

The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved the construction of additional feeder roads in the state, showcasing its dedication to enhancing infrastructure and quality of life for the people of Anambra.
In a statement released by the state Commissioner of Information, Mr. Law Mefor, “ANSEC , at it’s 38th meeting has given the green light for the construction of the Uga – Amesi – Otikpo Road, including a spur through the Catholic Cathedral Ekwulobia. This project aims to improve transportation, stimulate economic activities, and enhance the well-being of the residents in the area.
“The contract for the project has been awarded to JOVIANI Engineering Ltd at a cost of N1,262,534,727.00 with a timeline of 6 months from mobilization. This decision aligns with the state government’s commitment to providing crucial infrastructure to support socio-economic development and the administration’s goal of developing rural regions to reduce poverty and promote growth.
“The state government reassures the people of Anambra that it will continue to work diligently to deliver more projects that will transform the state and elevate the lives of its citizens,” Mefor noted.
