This commitment was emphasized during the 40th birthday celebration of the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Frank Igbojindu, in Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

The event was not only a celebration of Dr. Igbojindu’s milestone but also a tribute to the foundation’s remarkable contributions to education and skill development over the past decade. In his speech, Dr. Igbojindu expressed deep gratitude for achieving this milestone, earning a PhD, and witnessing the foundation’s transformative impact on countless lives.

“Since its inception, the Akpoazaa Foundation has organized the Best Brain Quiz Contest, benefiting over 3,000 students, and has awarded scholarships to more than 100 students across various educational levels. Moreover, the foundation is partnering with the De Imperial Philanthropic Family to provide quality education for over 1,000 underprivileged students, aiming to lift them out of poverty.”

Dr. Igbojindu emphasized that the most valuable gift one can offer to the younger generation is a sound education. He stated, “Education is the best way to build wealth. I am dedicated to providing scholarships and encouraging affluent individuals to invest in the education of our youth.” He underscored the importance of prioritizing education as a means to foster financial stability and reduce youth restiveness in society.

“Support for education is support for a better future. It is an investment in an ideal life,” he asserted.

Countering the misconception that education is a scam, Dr. Igbojindu believes that proper education can effectively address many personal and societal challenges, thereby contributing to national development. He stated, “At Akpoazaa Foundation, we firmly believe that education is the passport to a brighter future in Nigeria. We are working diligently to change the narrative surrounding education, investing in both formal education and vocational training for underprivileged individuals in Anambra and the Southeast.”

To celebrate his 40th birthday, Dr. Igbojindu announced the launch of the Akpoazaa Media Factory, a new initiative designed to equip 1,000 youths with crucial media skills to fill existing gaps within the industry. ” Additionally, the foundation will cover the school fees, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) fees, and West African Examinations Council (WAEC) fees for 1,000 underprivileged students.

“Plans are also underway for a Southeast University Quiz Competition and the Best Brain Competition to honor the top-performing graduates at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.”

Dr. Igbojindu reaffirmed the Akpoazaa Foundation’s dedication to fostering change and creating a brighter future for Nigeria’s youth. He appealed to well-meaning individuals and organizations for support to help achieve this noble cause.

In support of her husband’s vision, Grace Igbojindu remarked, “I fully support my husband’s endeavors. The best I can do is pray that God continues to bless him with increased resources so that his philanthropic work can advance.”

She emphasized that the Akpoazaa Foundation remains committed to its mission of empowering youth in Anambra State and across Nigeria through education and skill acquisition, paving the way for a brighter and more prosperous future.
